Augusta #11 - White Dogwood - Original

White Dogwood #11, par 4, 505 yards, is located at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia. Host to the annual Masters Tournament during the first week of April. It is the start of “Amen Corner” and the wind is often a factor. You need a big drive to get to the top of the hill before the fairway begins to bank right and then finally banking slightly left.  Rae’s Creek rests on the left side of the green and instills fear into players as they hit their approach from the fairway. Birdies are very rare on the 11th hole! This original was painted in oils on a 24” x 36” canvas that wraps around 1.5” stretcher bars and is not framed. I was commissioned to paint this scene to use for reproductions as off-set lithographs to sell around the nation in retail stores, including Golf Galaxy. I now offer this image on fine art paper, canvas and metal. The original is currently at a gallery in Pinehurst, North Carolina.  If interested in the original, please contact me!
