A giclee is a fine art digital ink jet print made to reproduce artwork from information obtained directly from the original painting. The process employs a highly refined ink jet print head that has thousands of tiny nozzles that sprays very fine, overlapping layers of pigmented ink onto paper or canvas to create stunning prints with superior detail and rich color. This process gives the artist the ability to sell reproductions of original art on fine art paper or canvas at a more affordable cost than the original, with exceptional quality.

A giclee print is as delicate as an original work of art on paper and should be handled as such. If you must touch the surface of the print, use acid-free tissue between your fingers or white cotton gloves to protect the area. When framing, use acid-free, archival mat board and backing and have it framed by a professional experienced in handling fine works of art.

Please avoid direct sunlight when hanging your print and avoid areas of high humidity.

Our fine art giclee prints are printed on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag, 100% cotton, archival, acid-free, 308 gsm fine art paper. We also use archival canvas which gives the look and feel of an original painting without the expense. All giclees are printed with pigmented inks which are very stable and rated to last at least 100 years without fading.

Each Giclee on fine art paper or canvas comes in three sizes or you may custom order a specific size. Please inquire for specific size and price.

The sizes listed here are for the golf course images. I will be painting larger to offer 12"x 24" prints soon. Golf course landscapes: 10"x 15", 16"x 24" and 24"x 36". For the prints, this is the image size, not including the borders, and on the canvas, this is the size of the stretcher bar, with a mirrored image of the art wrapped around the side so no white canvas shows. This is called a "gallery wrap". You my choose a 3/4" or 1 1/2" depth canvas. We suggest framing the 3/4" depth canvas without glass as you would an original painting and you may frame the 1 1/2" depth canvas using a "floating" frame, (where there is a space between the canvas & frame) or a traditional frame. The depth of this canvas allows you to hang your art without a frame if you choose this option.

My ocean scenes currently come in one size: 10"x 20".

Many of the prints offered are Open Signed Editions, which mean they are identical prints, signed by the artist and published in unlimited numbers. All of these prints are Offset Lithographs.

Limited Edition prints are a set number of identical prints of one image, signed and numbered by the artist, showing the print number on top of the total edition size. Once the prints of this specific image and size are sold out, they will no longer be available. All of our giclees are Limited Edition prints.

Certificate of Authenticity will be included with each Limited Edition. This statement of authenticity documents the artist's name, the title of the work, date of release, the edition size and artist's proofs and the print number you purchased. This guarantees that the edition size is limited and the image will not be published again at this size as a fine art print. This certificate is signed and dated by the artist.
